|This is the ideal course for those who want to learn or enhance their knowledge of all aspects of the English language. You will be able to improve your reading, listening, writing and speaking skills, and to learn a lot about grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. All of that while having fun, of course!
Most of the schools start this course every Monday of the year, and provide 20/25 hours of face-to-face study per week. The length of the course depends on how much you want to study (4 weeks minimum normally), and you usually have the opportunity to move from one level to another, as soon as you are ready!
The General English course is usually designed on 6 levels:

If you want to test your skills or you don’t know how many weeks to study, you could do our *English test*: a qualified teacher will assess it and suggest you what to do!
|This course is for those who are already quite good at English, and who want to develop their skills in order to communicate in a wide range of Business situations and to be confident in every Business environment. Each school offers its own course, but they usually focus on vocabulary and Business-related topics, such as negotiations, interviews, meetings, international relations, and so forth.
The course usually lasts 10/12 weeks and there are several intake dates throughout the year.
EAP (English for Academic Purposes)
|This is an academic course, designed to help students be fully prepared for their further studies in English. It is the course for you if you plan to study at Australian colleges or universities, because you will have the right comprehension and communication skills to handle such courses. Furthermore, some Australian education provider may accept this course as an equivalent to the IELTS exam.
This course usually lasts 10/12 weeks and there are several intake dates throughout the year.
IELTS Exam Preparation
|The International English Language Testing Systen (IELTS) is an international test of English proficiency, and it’s becoming more and more recognized in the world. In Australia, it is accepted as an entry requirement for all colleges and universities, and for the application for Australian permanent visas.
The IELTS test is made up by 4 sections (speaking, reading, listening and writing) and it’s scored from band 1 (non-user) to band 9 (expert user). Each sections has its own score, and then all of them are combined to provide an overall score. The majority of Australian colleges and university requires an overall score between 5.0 and 7.5 to be accepted.
Many schools offer an IELTS preparation course, to help you be successful with the exam and get to know some tricks and hints that will be really useful. The course usually starts every Monday and it can last 8/12 weeks.

Cambridge Exams Preparation
|Cambridge tests are internationally recognized, and there are 4 types:
The exam preparation helps you get an insight of how the exam will be. Due to the Cambridge Institute’s decision, there are only 3/4 intake dates throughout the year. The course usually lasts 10/12 weeks.
|The Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is a qualification certified by the University of Cambridge. This is the most widely recognized English language teaching qualification worldwide, and the industry benchmark for teaching English in Australia or overseas. It is a highly practical course that focuses on communicative teaching theories and includes teaching practicum in real classrooms.
Schools usually provide 4/6 intake dates per year, along with the possibility to study full time (4 weeks) or part time (8/12 weeks, depending on the school).
